New gutters!

Well everyone, it's been far too long - but I cannot blame that on a lack of activity at the ranch. So much has happened this month! Brick repointing, new appliances, new gutters...

Here's a step-by-step look at the gutter project -

1. Original gutters from 1962 - wooden, rotten, and growing weeds:

2. Gutters and rotten fascia board removed:

3. Former neighbor prepping the new fascia boards:

4. New gutters!

Biggest take-away: One story homes make all gutters accessible by an eight food ladder (thanks Charlie). Amazing!

  1. It was definitely a good decision to finally replace your old gutters. I can’t imagine how much trouble it has caused you every rainy season! Since it is reachable, you should always check and make sure that it is free from dirt and debris. Take care of your gutter!

  2. Hey there, Mark! =) You made a great choice. It might not seem obvious at once, but taking care of your roof drainage is all about protecting your foundation. Taking the time to maintain and repair downspouts and gutters can double or even triple the life of your roof drainage system. This can save you a lot of money on repair costs. You could ask roofers to do regular gutter check up if you’re too busy. Take care. Keep us posted =)
